It's February and Valentine's Day is coming up fast. A time to celebrate love. I've got a lot of love in my life and I'm very thankful for that. I could go on and on about how much I love Madina, my friends and my family but that's not what this blog is about. Today I want to talk about my love and passion for creativity.
I started Almost Midas Productions because I have a love for creating videos. Also, I am motivated by helping others. So I decided I would combine those two passions and create a company that would allow be to do both of those things at the same time. I will create interesting, unique, attention grabbing videos that will help companies achieve their goals.
I remember the days of making short films in my friend Mike's basement with a clunky old video camera. We didn't even have any editing software so we had to "edit" by rewinding the recording tape. There is nostalgia as I think back on those times because it was the starting point of what fueled my passion for making videos.
I also fell in love with film very early on in life. My mom would watch movies with me quite often and even as a child I remember wanting to create my own stories. I had a Cyclops X-Men action figure that I would play with for half an hour to an hour at a time, creating my own "movie" or "tv-show" in my mind. Why the Cyclops action figure? Simple, it had the most bendable joints out of any of my figures, so I could make him move more than any of the other ones.
So, as you take some time today to celebrate your loved ones, take some time to remember what passions you have in life as well. And if you want a video to celebrate your love or passion, you know who to call.
